JOSHUA LIFRAK, M.S.
I’m a mental performance coach working with individuals, teams, and organizations to help them perform at their best when it matters most. My work has taken me from locker rooms and championship runs to boardrooms and leadership teams facing complex, high-stakes decisions.
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with elite athletes, business leaders, and high-performing teams to develop the mindset, focus, and resilience required to succeed consistently—not just once, but over time.
One of the defining experiences of my career was serving as Director of Mental Skills for the Chicago Cubs during their historic 2016 World Series championship season. In that environment, there was no room for distraction, doubt, or inconsistency. Every moment mattered.
I later brought that same approach to Major League Baseball as the Mental Skills Coach for the New York Mets, and I’ve worked with world-class athletes across sports—including world number one golfers, Grand Slam finalists, NFL and NBA players, and elite collegiate programs.
Today, I work with executives, entrepreneurs, and organizations to help them navigate uncertainty, lead with confidence, and perform at a higher level in fast-moving, high-pressure environments. Clients include companies like McDonalds, Novartis, Pfizer, KPMG, and Amazon.
In my book, WIN TODAY: Six Steps to Mental Resilience, Peak Performance, and a Thriving Life, I share the framework I’ve developed over years of working with high performers. The core idea is simple: you don’t win in the future—you win today
I have a Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Sports Psychology from Ithaca College and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island.
